With charcoal-and-white wallpaper and striped Roman shades, the actress chose strong graphic patterns and a neutral palette for her first baby’s nursery. Whimsical touches, such as a black-and-white striped teepee and adorable animal accent pieces, keep the room kid-friendly and playful. Plus, a copper wire bird cage-inspired lighting fixture provides tiny pops of bright color to the muted color scheme.

A focal wall adorned with reclaimed wood featuring the baby’s name in large, bold letters sets the stage, while a sleek crib with clear, acrylic slats makes the nursery feel fresh and open. Plus, a subtle pebble-patterned mattress fits perfectly with the outdoorsy look.

Inspired by a vintage giraffe figurine, the mom of four and reality star designed, with the help of the family’s “guncles” Bill Horn and Scout Masterson, a chic safari-esque nursery for her son Finn. A turquoise and orange color palette offer a modern twist to a traditional jungle theme. Filled with long-neck critter details, the room includes a wrought-iron letter “F” and a hand-made macramé mobile hanging over the crib, which the DIY enthusiast created herself.

For her youngest son Tucker’s room, the actress teamed up with the big cheese himself. Using Disney Paint collection’s Definitely Donald and Night Vision colors, the boy’s room was transformed with bold blue walls and stripes and clean, white furniture items. “I always said I didn’t want everything pink just because I was having a girl,” says CaCee Cobb, longtime BFF of Jessica Simpson. CaCee welcomed a daughter, Wilder, in April, with her husband, actor Donald Faison. (Brother, Rocco, is 2.) With the help of celebrity nursery designer Vanessa Antonelli, Cobb started with a blue mattress, but the decor did get more feminine from there—with a whimsical hanging branch and vintage-feeling wallpaper. “Of course, now that Wilder is here,” Cobb says, “all I do is dress her in pink!”

When former Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas Stagliano began planning a baby nursery for son Austin Michael, she started with furniture from evolur and a wooden wall—and built a cowboy-chic theme from there.
“We wanted the room to feel masculine for our boy, yet soft, since he’s a baby,” she says. “We wanted to go with the color blue, but not the typical shade of blue. From there, the other minimal details just fell into place.”
Daddy Stephen built built bookshelves out of old pallet wood and stained them so Austin could have a reading nook; DeAnna’s sister-in-law made the ribbon mobile above Austin’s crib; and her brother-in-law did the tattoo art (also present in big sister Addison’s room!). “We have very talented family members!” DeAnna says. Lucky baby, indeed!

In actress Christine Lakin’s daughter’s nursery, a soothing palette of grey is accented with soft pastels. Hangs a banner of ribbons in champagne, peach, pink, and sea foam green as well as baby Georgia’s name in script. The little girl’s moniker even inspired some of the decor, including the peach-accented quilt and shadow-boxed artwork on the far wall (not pictured) that showcases a cut-paper peach and Georgia’s birth announcement proclaiming she’s as “sweet as a peach.”
“The nursery was a labor of love,” Lakin says, adding, “I scoured Etsy for the perfect little details.” One example: the “perfect” Georgia pillow from 31nnovations. “I just love that it has all the major cities and landmarks of my home state, and it doubles as a perfect nursing prop in her rocker, too!”

The former Backstreet Boy dropped major coin—about $50,000, according to reports—on his son Odin’s steampunk-themed nursery! The mostly neutral space was pimped out by celeb designer Stephanie Avila from Rockabye Mommy, with bedding provided by New Arrival’s Tori Swaim. Carter and wife Lauren Kitt Carter reportedly fell in love with the awesome steampunk flying machine wallpaper and decided to run with the theme for the entire room—which is why you’ll find lots of cool industrial accents like those Edison-bulb starburst light fixtures, modern metal-and-wood wall shelving, and those large metal letters spelling out Odin’s name above the crib—which, by the way, was a surprise baby shower gift from fellow Backstreeter AJ McLean and his wife Rochelle.

What’s pink, white, and sweet all over? Other than Ali Fedotowsky’s new daughter Molly, it’s her nursery, which was created with the help of Vanessa Antonelli. The designer checked out the celeb mama’s Instagram posts and saw photos in her home showing “beautiful, feminine, and frilly” things. “Immediately, a design started dancing in my head featuring the floral focal wall,” Antonelli says. In fact, Ali’s style isn’t very girlie—but Antonelli says she still loved the inspiration, “and her nursery was created around that gorgeous wall from The Flower Wall Company featuring thousands of handmade flowers.” Also worthy of envy: Baby Molly’s amazing closet, designed by LA Closet Design!

Candice and Tony Romo
Candice Romo, the co-founder of the baby product line Hawk+Sloane, and her husband Tony, the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback, welcomed their third son, Jones McCoy, in August. And when it comes to nursery decor, we say the third time’s the charm! Both Candince and Tony were highly involved in the design aspects—with a little help from their Dallas-based interior designer, Debra Owens.
“It all started when Debra and I came across the wallpaper, and it really inspired the look and feel of the nursery design ahead,” Candice says. “I love fresh, clean lines with natural elements and pops of color.” After the wallpaper came an amazing custom built “big kid” bed, “and everything else rolled on from there,” she adds.
But just like any working mother on-the-go, Candice found herself ordering different pieces, shopping around stores in her free time, and working on design elements along the way. Her advice for picking a theme or styling for a room? “Take all the things you like, don’t worry about them being ‘matchy-matchy,’ and mix them!” Which ultimately led her to a beautiful room for baby Jones.
